Former NSW Blues star Blake Ferguson is reportedly on the radar of an English Super League club.

After recently signing with country side Thirlmere-Tahmoor Roosters it seems as though Ferguson will take a big pay-rise to move across to the United Kingdom.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Ferguson is currently being looked at by an unnamed club who are said to be willing to pay the NRL veteran up to $200,000 a year.

At the end of the 2021 season Ferguson left the Parramatta Eels, joining Japanese rugby union side the NEC Green Rockets.

His stint in rugby union was cut short before it had begun due to a drug-related incident that saw him spend up to 29 days in a Japanese jail.

While no specific Super League side has been specifically reported the Warrington Wolves are the only side the currently have space for the former Kangaroo, due to the quota dispensation rules regarding overseas players.
