Greensboro police: Man killed in I-40 crash Sunday morning

One person has died following an early morning crash in Greensboro.Greensboro police responded to the area of I-40 East and South Elm-Eugene Street regarding the incident just after 5 a.m.Authorities said a driver was traveling east when they struck a pedestrian that was running running across the roadway. The pedestrian died as a result of their injuries. Police have not yet identified the victim but describe them as being a white male between 40 and 50 years of age.
