Why is Thailand a must-see place for Globetrotters?

There are nearly 200 countries/regions to choose from. Why would travelers select Thailand as their final destination? Thailand is one of the most visited countries globally, receiving more than 35 million tourists every year. Some of the most iconic attractions include the magnificent islands in the south, Bangkok’s various street foods, and thousands of temples all over the country. If you can quickly think that still choosing a destination is a problem, here are the reasons why you should go to Thailand at least once in your life.

There are Plenty of Temples to visit.

Thailand is a Buddhist country with more than 41,000 temples and is under construction all the time. In many areas, you can easily visit 4 to 5 temples in one day. The most iconic temples in Thailand are the White Temple in Chiang Rai, Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok, Ratburana Temple in Ayutthaya, and Wat Suthep in Chiang Mai.

When visiting temples in Thailand, please remember to wear appropriate clothes, cover your knees and shoulders with clothes, and take off your shoes at the entrance. Keep your voice low, do not point your feet at the Buddha statue, and act politely.

Tasty Food

Whether visitors stay in the Land of Smiles for a day or a month, Thai cuisine is superbly delicious and assorted that visitors never have to eat the same dish twice. Visitors will even find that the food will change with the location so that they can choose exciting food during the adventure from one city to another. You can make British Airways Reservations and enjoy the beauty of Thailand.

Beautiful people

Although all the countries that people visit will have a considerable number of friendly locals, there are certain things about Thais that reduce the chance of adventure in this particular country. Thais are traditionally warm, or at least considered friendly. Perhaps it is their traditional Thai greeting “wai” (wai), which is when someone bows slightly with both hands, as if in prayer. Perhaps this is how many Thais eat at home, and some tourists are lucky enough to be invited to a delicious meal. With a national motto such as mai pen rai, it means don’t worry or okay, and this country seems to have a friendly and indifferent atmosphere towards it in general.

Cheap travel expenses

Due to a severe shortage of funds, travelers with limited budgets have to cut cities from their itineraries continually. However, in Thailand, travel is way too affordable, and various means of transports are easily available. The buses and trains’ prices across the country are also meager, with stations in rural towns and some of Thailand’s largest tourist destinations.

The pleasant weather

Thailand has three main seasons, all of which are suitable for holidaymakers to enjoy on the go. The country is flooded with tourists during the dry season when the temperature usually does not exceed 90°. In the summer season, tourists gather around the many dreamy beaches found on Thailand’s east coast. During the monsoon season, Bangkok and northern Thailand are popular destinations as these islands are prone to flooding during this period. Despite the pros and cons of each season, visitors may never feel cold and can enjoy the country’s excessive sun during their visit.

Crazy Nightlife

Thailand is eager to please those tourists who grow up after dark. Be prepared for night owls because the country has all kinds of nightlife places that tourists might imagine. Backpackers head to Khao San Road (Khao San Road), where they are connected with like-minded travelers and wine barrels. Those who intend to be slimmer will find many red-light districts in cities across the country, including Pattaya,  Bangkok, Phuket, etc. Although these are the main attractions for those who want to spend a good night, in addition to having the best LGBTQ nightlife in the world, the country is also known for reggae and jazz bars, especially in Bangkok.

Snorkeling and Diving

Thailand has more than 1,500 miles of coastline, many of which are among the world’s best dive sites. There are varied attractions on the sea for international travelers because monsoon barely affects areas like Pattaya, which is famous for the many turtles that divers can almost guarantee to find here. Visit here by making Turkish Airlines reservations. The best places for diving and snorkeling in Thailand include Surin Islands,  Koh Tao, Koh Chang, and Chumphon.

You’ll see Monks all around.

There are more than 41,000 Buddhist temples in the country, and you can imagine there are many monks around. It is estimated that more than 300,000 monks pass through Thailand! You can easily recognize the monks because they wear plain and bright orange robes and usually carry alms bowls to collect food donations. Please be aware of any monks approaching you on the street asking for money in the name of donation; this might be a liar.
